The stories of these nine women who turned their struggles, fears, doubts and failures into strength through total commitment, faith and trust in Jesus became extraordinary because of their life changing faith in God.
Story of Zi Han – Death is necessary and is also a salvation to all believers, since GOD has given us the eternal kingdom as our inheritance. Jesus did not just die a sacrificial death for us to cleanse our heart from sins. He invited us into His heart, pouring love and compassion on us who believe and trust in Him.
Story of Lindsey – The cries of desperate hearts can be heard all around us. God will respond to the cry of the desperate hearts wherever it may be found.
Story of Rachel – Her story is much like my niece’s whom I never failed to pray for, especially when she was in prison. Though my niece has turned over a new leaf and is delivered by Christ, she is a luke-warm Christian and there is yet much room for God to work in her. I passed her this book in hopes it will help her, whether now or later. I prayed to the Lord, “You have to help Nicole to believe in You because it is not in my power to do so.”
Story of Claudia – According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, “From its beginning until death, human life is surrounded by their watchful care and intercession. Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life. Already here on earth the Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God.” Amen.
Story of Sally – This is about self-glory versus God’s glory.
Story of Grace – Suffering cease when we make prayers and proclamation of God’s healing.
Story of Margaret – Regarding diverse religions, I am the only Christian among my siblings. I pray they will be converted so I can have the privilege of seeing them walking in faith. I only desire to serve Him and be able to say in the end, “Lord, I have swallowed what I would dub ‘sovereignty pills’, and Jesus, You are Sovereign.”
Story of Thyda – Forgiveness is one of the most important aspects of Christianity. I have forgiven my ex-husband and pray for his well-being and new family.
Story of Angie – For me, motherhood is a winding path from marriage, complete with the heartbreak of divorce after 14 years. I found a unique adventure God had for me, juggling my career in a senior financial position and being a single mother. I went deeper and listened to where God might be calling me to go. And no matter how unusual or crazy the tasks, I still followed God’s plan, and continue to do so today.
